Lincoln Middle School- Phase One- Modernization Project Completion
by Richard Stearns on January 25, 2012A ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled at Lincoln Middle School on Wednesday, February 1 at 3:30p.m. to memorialize the completion of the modernization project.
This exciting event, the first ribbon cutting ceremony in the Measure BB program, is open to the public. Site and District staff, architects and contractors will also be in attendance to celebrate.
The modernization at Lincoln Middle School included renovating the former library and makingĀ four new classrooms, two science labs and a shared prep room. There will be a guided tour through the newly renovated area at the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.
“We are eager to celebrate this event and move forward with the next project, a new, two-story library and classrooms building, which will also include a new chorus room and additional science labs,” Principal Webb said. “The new project will continue to offer our students the tools they need to succeed in high school and beyond.”
Construction of the new, two-story building is estimated to begin in the first quarter of 2012.
More information on the project can be found at Lincoln Middle Improvements.
